As the name suggests this coffee is wild grown in the Bonga Rain Forest in Ethiopia. It's hand picked cherries are harvested by independent farmers, and sent for processing as a cooperative. The members of the cooperative are committed to sustainability in price, environment and social improvement. For their labours they provide one of the most unusual coffees we have come across. Rich in body, with hints of spice. It is similar in many ways to Ethiopian Harrar with its earthy mushroom overtones, but with a surprisingly silky mouthfeel that lingers on and on long after the cup.
