Java Jampit 2008-2009

Bean name Java Jampit 2008-2009
Country Indonesia

I've come across this coffee in the past, and not been very impressed, though there was something about this crop that I liked. Jampit Estate is a coffee plantation owned by the Indonesian government, just like many plantations in Java.

Indonesian coffees are well known for their earthy qualities which some times just get down right dirty. Dirty is not something that I like in my coffee, though this one is full bodied with the slightest hint of acidity and fresh clean earth. You know what I mean, just like the pleasant freshness of potting soil when you open a grow bag. To fully understand you have to try this one, so what are you waiting for?
