||Colombia Villa Dellen Washed Caturra 2017
Sometimes when we're cupping samples of coffee we come across something that's just so super delicious that we have to have it, but unfortunately delicious coffee doesn't always come with very much information.
This coffee from Villa Dellen is 1 of those coffees, I will tell you what I can but the information is limited, but I hope the lack of info will be forgiven when you taste how impressively delicious it is!
Villa Dellen is located at 1,786 metres above sea level in the Palestina municipality of the Huila department of Colombia, the farm is 3 hectares in size and all 3 of those hectares are used for coffee production, nowt else grown here...just tasty + delicious coffee. That coffee is processed via the washed method and at Villa Dellen they use a fermentation time of 36 hours before drying it all in the sun.
In the cup this is like melted ice cream and chocolate coated raisins, there's a boozy fruity edge and then a little light cherry on the finish.
