Last year we bought from a farm in Caranarvi called San Jose. The farm is owned by Constancio Arquipa, and so pleased was he with the price we paid, that this year he conscripted his family into delivering cherries to the mill.

This is their first year of doing so, and have delivered on mass (6 separate producers into one lot). But when we cupped it on a blind cupping table I snapped it up in a heart beat. I think it can (and will) get better in coming years, but evewn with this in mind, its mind blowing.

The trade of for this is we don't know so much about it, but I'd love to see this develop into splitting the lots up from the family in the future.

But tasty is all we care about here, and tasty it is.

In the cup expect sweet nectarine with super sweet malted milk biscuit, with a creamy finish and mouthfeel. It really is for the sweet of tooth.

If you hear the first pops of second crack it's time to stop. This is a medium to medium dark roast so as not to kill the sweetness.
