Description

This is secretly a blend that we've offered seasonally for yonks but this year returns as part of our new range of blends as the wildcard!

Wilcard gives us a chance to explore and experiment, celebrating something specific and outside the box for a limited time only. It sits across many of the previous blends every time it changes, but expect the unexpected.

This release celebrates all that's delicious about Brazil and creates a blend that I think shows it off as an origin in the very best way possible.

In previous years this blend has been called Perfetio and I've received many many many emails saying that perfetio isn't a word and I must have accidentally slipped when typing. The truth is that I did slip but a very long time ago and the name just stuck!

In Brazil they speak Portuguese and the word 'perfect' in Portuguese is 'perfeito', when I first created this blend many moons ago I was going to go for that as the name but accidentally made a typo. Once I'd seen it there I quite liked how it looked so decided to keep it as it was, always fun creating a new word! I'm sure at the time if you searched the internet for 'perfetio' it would have said you couldn't spell but now you're shown lots of things about this blend, a giant success I think!

This is a blend that was made for the espresso machine to tick all the boxes for espresso lovers. It's also designed to be super forgiving so is going to give you tasty & delicious results. As espresso it has sweet chocolate notes, as a milk drink the nutty-ness increases, and in the brewed style it's smooth and balanced.

If you have a bean to cup machine this shines as if it was being served from a more traditional machine. It is very forgiving, and is a wonderful blend.

If you're a brewer of tasty + delicious filter coffee please don't be put off by the above, it is of course also totally nom as a filter brew!
