Description
Here at Hasbean we're big BIG fans of filter coffee and at the roastery there's always plenty of filter being enjoyed - it's an absolute necessity to keep Team Hasbean zooming around all day long (except for Al that is... Al will have a tea if you're offering, ta)! This year's Christmas Filter Blend was a super popular and tasty success, with an army of folks lamenting it having come to an end after the holidays, and this got us thinking, why not bring Phil-Ter back from the past?! And now here we are...
We've taken some of our favourite single origin coffees and crafted a blend that we think delivers a fantastically tasty cup of filter coffee : ) perfect for lazy mornings, busy afternoons and just about everything in between.
Our range of coffees continually evolve as the seasons change so throughout the year different coffees come and go, as this happens we update our blends to reflect that seasonality. The coffees in this season’s Phil-Ter are...
50% Colombia La Chorrera Washed Caturra
30% Costa Rica Sumava Finca Monte Llano Bonito Yellow Honey Villa Sarchi
20% Kenya Kiriga Estate AA Washed
In the cup expect juicy blackcurrant and lime. The refreshing zing is balanced by a sweetness that reminds me of digestive biscuits.
Roast Information:
Medium - through first crack and just up to the cusp of second, but no more than a few pops on the drop.
"Quick Look" Guide:
Blackcurrant, lime, digestive biscuits.
