Indian Peaberry Bold 2010-2011

Summary

Bean name Indian Peaberry Bold 2010-2011
Country India

Description

Our friend, Fiaz Moosakutty, the farmer of our great Monsoon Malabar coffee, for me provides some of the best coffee to come out of India. Not a region known for its quality, Fiaz seems to hit it out the park every year.

I'm not a fan of Indian coffees generally, so I always worry a little when cupping them. They tend to be dirty baggy and generally not nice. This coffee proves that there are some very big exceptions to that generalisation, it is earthy, rich and big coffee. There is no acidity in this one at all, just a nutty and almost cigar like taste to it.

Great blend componen,t great single origin shot, not a wallflower at all, this coffee is a big bruiser that is full of flavour.
