Guatemala Finca El Triangulo 2009-2010

Bean name Guatemala Finca El Triangulo 2009-2010
Country Guatemala
Region Sierra de Las Minas
Other info Catucaí Varietal

This estate coffee has been cultivated by owner Roni Asencio and his family since 1990 in the Sierra de Las Minas Region. It is one of Guatemala's most beautiful natural areas, and where seventy percent of the flora and fauna species in the country are found.

Finca El Triangulo is located below the Sierra de Las Minas national reservoir at an altitude of 1,350 to 1,800 metres above sea level. Rich organic soils and natural spring rivers flow down from the mountains creating perfect conditions for the growing of high quality coffee.

El Triangulo is one of the farms that we visited in the 2007 visit to Guatemala and this is the first time we have been able to stock coffee from it, which is very exciting. Roni, the owner of the farm, is a top man and an excellent host. We are really pleased after all this time has passed since the visit to be able to offer his coffee to you.

In the cup expect very, very clean, melon mixed with oranges and rind with hazelnuts sprinkled on top. It finishes with a milk chocolate smoothness that continues on for a long time. Fantastic character cup.
