Description

Coopronaranjo is a producer co-operative located in Costa Rica's Central Valley. Peaberrys represent less than 1% of the co-op's typical crop. Some claim that the flavour of peaberrys is more superior to normal grade beans by the concentration of taste into one whole round bean instead of two flat half beans. Me I'm not so sure but when I cupped this on a blind table it jumped out at me for my attention.

This Growers Cooperative was founded in 1968 by 98 growers to resolve problems related to agriculture and to the economy of the time. Currently, the co-op has more than 3,000 small coffee producer members working together to improve quality of the coffee and improve the price they receive.

In the cup expect bright acidity, citric lemon and limes with a smooth aftertatse of sweet honey.
